How We Started Dog Walking & Pet Sitting in Nashville
Long-time East Nashvillian, Ashley Chapman (owner) has been walking dogs and pet sitting in Nashville for over nine years. Before moving to the city, she worked in shelters in NYC and Brooklyn, and currently, has a pack of five dogs and one cat. When she moved to Nashville, she kept finding stray dogs and ended up adopting several or getting them re-homed.
With extensive experience with all breeds, and temperments especially large, energetic breeds, dog walking was a natural next step for a career path. From high drive dogs to those with special needs or medications, we are comfortable with your situation.
Who Is Jack O’Lantern?
Jack O’Lantern was just a puppy when he showed up at what was to be his forever family’s home. When he went unclaimed, he became a permanent member of the family. He was the most energetic, jumpy puppy Ashley had ever met, including all of the dogs in the shelters. He was by far the youngest of four dogs and learned so much from his dog brothers, Scruffles, Nick, and Brover.
Over time, Ashley learned how to work with Jack and he ended up becoming the best dog you could ever ask for. Now he is the last member of the original pack and has three dog sisters, one dog brother, and one cat sister. He keeps his pack running smoothly, and now at seven years old, he’s calmed down so much, but never completely stopped jumping here and there with the joy only a dog can have.
